Miles McMillan | Real Name, Bio, Age, Net Worth And Life Style

Our cover story for April/May 2023 features Miles McMillan in The Best of Two Worlds.
Miles McMillan manages to balance two artistic endeavors with ease and succeeds in each. He speaks with DAMAN in this exclusive interview on his career as a model and artist.
As they did for model and painter Miles McMillan, art and fashion each have their special appeal and frequently cross paths. Since he was young, he had been interested in art, so he chose to pursue fine arts at New York University. He was a budding artist who had never given modeling much thought until a photographer asked to shoot him for a local company in 2009. He accepted the chance, and it paid off. After fourteen years, McMillan has amassed an outstanding body of work as a model, working with illustrious labels like Dior, Alexander McQueen, Lanvin, and Tommy Hilfiger, among others. Despite enjoying easy success as a model, McMillan never forgot his passion for the arts and kept working as a painter. We met down with him and spoke about how each industry influences the other now that he has successful employment in both of them.

Miles McMillan
DAMAN: Starting at the beginning How and why did your initial enthusiasm for modeling develop? And how did you initially come into contact with this world?
Mr. Miles McMillan A photographer approached me while I was in a pub on the lower east side of New York City and asked if I modeled and if I would be interested in working with her on an Urban Outfitters shoot. I said yes because I didn’t yet have a summer job. It sort of continued after I completed the filming and the contract I had negotiated. My years at the period stood 20.
DA: What’s the key to your successful, long-running modeling career?
MM: I believe that my persistence in working with many persons throughout the years was aided by my continued interest in doing so. I always come prepared to do my best work.
DA: Could you give us the names of some of the persons who have had a big impact on your career?
Karl Templer had a significant impact on me, says MM. He and I collaborated frequently at Tommy Hilfiger, and he gave me many life lessons. He was difficult, but he has my utmost respect.
DA: What project are you most proud of, and why is that project so significant to you?
MM: I’m most proud of the two shootings I did with Jack Pierson, one for Purple and the other for AnOther Man. He was my painting instructor at NYU, and I had the utmost respect for both him and his creative output. It was an honor for him to offer to take portraits of me, and I believe they are among my most recognizable images.
